Why Counseling?

Counseling is a safe space where you can share difficult feelings, emotions and challenges with a professional counselor in a confidential manner. Counseling will help you vent, reflect, learn life skills and build resilience. You can Improve Relationships, Build Confidence, Overcome Peer Pressure, Cope with Stress, Beat Anxiety & Outgrow Depression. It will empower you with skillsets to become a better version of self. A counselor will encourage you to share your emotions, analyze your feelings and make sense of the thoughts that trigger them. They will listen to you intently and help you excel personally and professionally.

Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions. I have the tools and professional experience to help you get back on track.

Therapy provides a safe space to express the pain. It's a space you are heard without judgement or prejudice. You can grieve your loss and really talk about all that hurts. Thoughts are untangled and you seek answers with your therapist. An internal closure of the relationship is achieved. A support is provided to stabilize difficult emotions in chaos. After acceptance, resolving, rebuilding this theraputic relationship with the counselor helps individuals look at the world again with confidence and trust.

Relationships often go sour, communication can get hard, you can lose trust. Relationships that were once the source of happiness and joy turn bitter due to unresolved hurt, unmet needs, disappointments and unrealistic expectations. In therapy, a safe space is created for individuals to communicate without hurting each other or judging. Therapy creates a better understanding of each other’s needs. It helps individuals to see the unique perspective of their partner and an opportunity to repair and heal.

Self-exploration or Self-Discovery can be thought of as the process of understanding one’s true self and of uncovering unrealized potential. A lack of unity between the inner self and the one’s outside existence can create psychological discomfort. When things just aren’t feeling right, such as when we feel lost, or unmotivated. Counselling helps in bridging this gap between the inner and outer self.

Psychological well-being consists of positive relationships with others, personal mastery, autonomy, a feeling of purpose and meaning in life, and personal growth and development. Psychological well-being is attained by achieving a state of balance affected by both challenging and rewarding life events. Counselling and therapy helps on achieve a better balance within oneself.

Getting consistent, quality sleep can help you perform better at work, reduce your reaction time, and leave you feeling more motivated. Counselling helps you discover your work persona, helps you discover your personal motivators and schedule yourself better to have a holistic growth with work and career.

Therapy and counselling for Sexuality and Intimacy addresses mental health issues and/ or emotional concerns affecting a person's sexual function, drive, and/or desire for intimacy. Therapy helps you understand your needs and desires better, helps individuals and couples improve their sexual satisfaction and sexual interactions.
